Anjino Vino · Vinarija Džipković
A beginning — built together, step by step.
"Anjino Vino is something I chose to build — not something I inherited."
In 2022, after spending my childhood abroad and my university years studying law and economics, I made the decision to return to my homeland in Serbia and start something I could call mine.
I felt a strong need to create something of my own — something real, physical, and connected to nature.
I didn't grow up in a winemaking family, and I didn't have a vineyard waiting for me. Everything began with a piece of land in Velika Plana — and with the support of my family, who believed in this idea from the very beginning.
In the early stages, I was learning constantly — not just from books or theory, but from the people around me.
The team working in the vineyard, many of whom are local and have spent their lives connected to this land, became an essential part of this journey. Their experience, intuition, and understanding of the vineyard taught me things that can't be learned any other way.
Working alongside them shaped my approach — more patient, more observant, and more respectful of the natural rhythm of the vines.
From the start, I knew I didn't want to build something big and industrial. I wanted to keep it small, focused, and personal.
Today, the vineyard covers about 3 hectares, with varieties I was used to drinking while living abroad — Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc.
I am not trying to fit into the Serbian wine scene at every cost. I embrace differences and I showcase them proudly through my hard work.
"Respect the grape. Respect the timing. Don't force the outcome."
I stay closely involved in every part of the process — from vineyard work to decisions in the cellar.
Production remains limited, by choice. It allows for attention to detail and preserves the connection between the land, the people, and the final bottle.
The goal is always to let the wine reflect where it comes from.
Without my family's support, and without the knowledge and dedication of the people working alongside me, this winery wouldn't exist in the way it does today.
There is no long tradition behind it. No inherited legacy. What exists instead is a beginning — built together, step by step.
What We Stand For
Respect the grape, the land, the timing, and the people who work it. Nothing is forced. Everything is earned.
We don't try to fit in. We embrace what makes Anjino Vino different and showcase it proudly in every bottle.
Limited production is a choice, not a constraint. It keeps us focused, personal, and connected to what truly matters.
"There is no long tradition behind it. No inherited legacy. What exists instead is a beginning — built together, step by step."
